Curtis Tran

Hello! ようこそ!
My name is Curtis Tran. 私のなまえはクリス。
Many of my fans know me as Cir9
(Pronounced ‘Chi-ru-no’). チルノ

Known as a veteran 5-Time American Ninja Warrior athlete, Curtis Tran originated as the first Akiba-Style DJ in the Rocky Mountains evolving into a production career in the USA.

Starting as a "Foreigner Broadcaster" on NicoVideo.jp, his first live apperance was at the Nan Desu Kan anime convention. Since then, Curtis has been accepted to perform for multiple conventions coast-to-coast like Anime Expo, CA and Otakon, MD.

Curtis' extreme love of Japanese rhythm/puzzle games, as well as the culture of NicoVideo.jp, created his inspiration of a hybrid megamix of all things "Otaku". Combining Vocaloid, Touhou, Video Games, Doujin, Denpa, Curtis creates a musical performances that embodies the Akiba spirit.

With no college experience or professional training, Curtis has used his live streaming experince from NicoNico to land production jobs at Fox 21, Comcast Spotlight, Spartan©, as well as provided A/V support for conventions within the United States.

"It's my goal to promote Japanese digital arts to everyone. I want to make sure I give everyone that opportunity to learn more about my favorite passions. From sharing music, playing games, or just being a friend, I want to do anything I can to bring the power of smile. I'll do my best!" (Sorry! I'm currently in a Idolm@ster mode again...)
